The cornerstone for The Ross Group Inc. was laid nearly 40 year ago when our current president, Ross Pangere, began working in the construction industry. Ross spent 20 years helping to expand a family run business, working his way up from construction manager to president of the company. Through his leadership, the company grew 10 folds, prompting Ross to venture out on his own and create a Northwest Indiana construction company based on the core value of "Customers First."

From the vision of "Customers First" RossCo was founded in 1994, focusing   on industrial roofing and sheeting throughout Northwest Indiana. The founding of RossCo would be the first half of the soon to be The Ross Group, Inc.

A year later, the company acquired Fred C. Rowley & Sons, Inc., a well established Northwest Indiana general contractor. This acquisition allowed Ross Pangere to expand his "Customers First" approach to a wider range of customers in the design build and general construction arena.

In 2000, the two companies merged together to create what is today called The Ross Group, Inc. The Portage, IN company continues its "Customers First" approach, offering design build construction, general contractor services, construction of steel buildings, conventional metal roofing and siding, among other services.

In 2010, we updated our look to reflect our customers' view of us as "TRG." We also came to realize one detail that seems to set us apart. At The Ross Group, "We Listen...We Educate...We Build."
